It’s really just a silly little story… “Umm…It’s been a long time…I didn’t expect to see you here.” “Hmm.” He sips his S’more Frappuccino, there’s froth on his upper lip. “And yet, here I am.” “Well, you know how busy I’ve been; with work, family, hobbies — life. So very busy.” “Hmm.” He raises his eyebrows.” “Okay. Yeah, I know, totally lame excuses. It’s just that I don’t always see you, so I forget you’re there…here. It’s not intentional. Not personal.” Uncomfortable silence, stares. We sigh in unison. “You forget about me because I’m like the air you breath, the sun you soak in. I get it. You’re busy. Oh, so very busy.” I look down. “Hey, no, really, I get it. Don’t worry. Really. I’m here whenever, wherever. Just look me up and we’ll hang out together.” “Wow. You’re so understanding. So cool. I love that about you.” “Yeah, me too.” He does a goofy little head shake. “Have you tried this S’more drink? It’s dee-lish.” “No, I’m a Weight Watcher.” He gasps, “You need to live a little.” I smile, “maybe next time.” “I’ll be here.”

It’s amazing how much you can say on a small cup.
I so hope you are saving these cups. One day, when you are old (if you ever feel that way) you can pull these out and smile again.
